Dog Safety Gate Plus is a frameless, folding steel-wire gate. It hangs on 4 small steel brackets with pre-applied 3M adhesive, so it goes up without drilling into your walls. There's no frame and no bar across the floor to trip over. To walk through, lift the locking bar and fold the gate back. When you don't need it, it folds flat to about 1.5″.

How it works

1. Stick 2 brackets on one side of the opening for the gate's 2 wire hooks.
2. Stick the other 2 brackets on the opposite side (wall, frame or door) for the locking bar.
3. Hang the gate and drop the locking bar into its brackets.
4. To walk through, lift the bar by its oval pull loop and fold the gate back. To remove it completely, lift the whole gate off the brackets.

Which size, which situation?

How to measure: measure straight across the opening where the brackets will go, and pick the width that matches. The gate should touch the floor. Not sure which size fits? Email support@verymill.com with your measurement before you order.

Install tips

• Moving out? Warm the adhesive with a hair dryer, then peel the brackets off.

FAQ

Do I need to drill?
No. The brackets use pre-applied 3M adhesive. Screwing them in is optional: the brackets have screw holes for wood or plasterboard, but screws are not included.

Does it have a walk-through door?
No. To pass through, lift the locking bar and fold the gate back toward the hinge side. That keeps the design frameless, with no bar across the floor.

Will it damage my walls?
It's designed to install without drilling. To remove the brackets, warm the adhesive with a hair dryer and peel them off.

Can I take it down when guests come over?
Yes. Lift the whole gate off the brackets. It folds flat to about 1.5″ for storage.

Will it work in my RV or van?
The brackets can mount on the door frame or on the door itself. Measure the space the gate needs to cover and choose the matching width.

Can my dog see through it?
Yes. It's an open steel-wire lattice, so your dog can still see you.
